I love this stuff, it smells amazing and works well to smudge my basement suite, and it doesn’t set off the smoke detectors

I've had bad psoriasis that flares up throughout my life and over the years, ive been mostly using corticosteroids and various drug store lotions/creams. Last week, I bought this Devils Club Salve from Sisters Sage and was even shown the branches that were stripped to make it. The owner said it was good for a bunch of things including really dry skin from eczema and psoriasis.

At the time of purchase, I had bumpy, scaly, flaky patches on a few of my fingers and one on my hand and there were cracks in my skin from being so dry. I have been applying this and the comfrey salve throughout the day and at night, but especially after washing my hands/showering. I keep the Devils Club Salve in my bag and bring it with me everywhere and the Comfrey Salve is next to my bed. After one day, I didnt even recognize my hands - they were so much smoother. Of course, the psoriasis was not gone completely and I continued to use these salves. But a week later, the dry patches and cracks were gone. I do still have some textured areas where the patches were but I think my skin just needs more time to heal. This salve has a nice, but subtle scent and I am able to apply it at work in a scent-free building. They go on oily (more so when its warmer) and absorb into the skin quickly. It is easy to apply and it feels quite luxurious, so I am always reaching for it.

Overall, I highly recommend this product and all the other products at Sisters Sage. It feels great using natural, local products (that work!) from this women-owned small business. I will definitely be going back for more products in the future!

It's exactly what you hope - feels and smells like real pure lavender...no extra perfumes, etc...it foams up great and leaves you feeling clean and relaxed!

I bought four of the 2oz tins. I was looking for something for my moms 80th bday celebration and she has arthritis is both of her hands and fingers. Once she applied this salve on the first try it relieved the pain and inflammation in her hands. I kept a tin for myself to treat an awful grease burn on my right hand and it healed beautifully.
